Frequently Asked Questions
Our matcha leaves are sourced directly from a tea farm located in Uji, Kyoto, Japan.
Uji City is located between the two ancient capitals of Kyoto and Nara.
The combination of soil and atmosphere in this area make it a prime location for the growth and harvest of shade-grown tea leaves,
By milling in-store, we can control the quantity we mill. We mill matcha every 2 weeks in small batches. As a result, the product will remain fresh and will oxidize less.

Obviously better matcha
I have several brands and varieties of matcha on hand—really appreciate the stuff. The colour and flavour of the Uji matcha from Teaspoons Co… much better than any of what I can easily find nearby without dropping big bucks.

Lovely mid price range matcha!
Don’t need to spend $$$ on premium matcha. This is the best quality for lattes and it’s not the most expensive out there!

Great everyday
II ❤️ matcha and this is great for everyday matcha. I’ve been drinking this everyday since I’ve received it, whether for breakfast like coffee or dessert at night. Great hot or iced! Thank you so much for providing accessible great matcha in a one stop shop!
Teaspoons & Co
Hi Wanda! Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We're happy to hear that you love our matcha as much as we do. Cheers, Teaspoons & Co Team.

Delicious and vibrant!
The matcha powder was a beautiful bright green and tasted as delicious as it looked. Mixed it with oat milk and the result was a cold creamy drink that was perfect for hot days.
