After Each Use:

Rinse the chasen under warm running water immediately after use to remove residual matcha. Gently shake off excess water or tap it on the edge of the sink to remove droplets.

Drying:

Allow the chasen to air-dry completely. You can place it on a chasen holder, a special ceramic stand designed to maintain the shape of the prongs and allow proper air circulation. If you don't have a holder, you can place it on a clean, dry surface with the prongs facing down.

Storage:

Store the chasen in a cool, dry place. Avoid leaving it in a damp or humid environment, as this can lead to mold growth.

Preventing Damage:

Avoid pressing down too hard on the chasen while whisking, as this can cause the delicate bamboo prongs to break.
