Milled into matcha in Burnaby, BC.
Tasting notes:
Floral, vegetal, umami
Uji, renowned as the heart of premium matcha cultivation in Japan, is celebrated worldwide for its exceptional quality and rich tea-growing traditions. The region’s unique climate and fertile soil produce matcha with exceptional flavor and aroma.
This matcha strikes a good balance of vegetal notes with a hint of astringency, making it an excellent choice for matcha lattes. Its smooth, creamy texture and well-rounded taste provide a satisfying experience with every sip—perfect for daily enjoyment.
50g per pouch, will yield approximately 15 servings.
Milled weekly in small batches locally in Burnaby, Canada.
By milling in-store, we can control the quality of tea leaves being used and mill in small batches when needed, so the product remains fresh for longer.
**Please note that our prices have increased due to the rising cost of raw materials. This year, tencha leaves have yielded less than last year, and with the growing demand for matcha, the cost of tencha has quadrupled. We’re doing our best to keep our products affordable by absorbing most of the cost.**
