Uji Matcha Microground
The first tea harvest in the year (also known as first flush tea) is the best quality. It brings the very best flavour and the highest amount of antioxidants and amino acids. You can expect our first harvest tea leaves to have better colour and an overall sweeter taste that is low in bitterness and great umami flavour.
This blend of Matcha powder is cultivated from the 1st harvest. The powder we're left with is a nice forest green colour and releases a soothing delicate flavour that can be enjoyed in lattes, smoothies, baked goods, or simply on its own.
